SOLIDWORKS Dark Mode

We just recently had the shortest day of the year. Yep, the winter solstice has come and gone. Now, each day is going to be a little longer than the previous for us in northern hemisphere. This thought of darkness has encouraged me to remind all our SOLIDWORKS users to explore “Dark Mode” color settings in SOLIDWORKS. It is a simple setting that changes the appearance of your SOLIDWORKS interface.

In the system options, select COLORS settings and you will find the BACKGROUND settings.

Set the background to Dark, and you’re ready to go.

While this DARK is just the background setting, additionally, selecting one of the darker scenes will create the ultimate Dark Mode experience. Please give this a try and let us know what you think!
