Stratasys F123 Series FDM Printers announced at SOLIDWORKS World 2017

If you were one of the lucky participants of SOLIDWORKS World 2017 last night, You might have received a glimpse of a new family if printers being released by Stratasys. The F123 Series is a leap forward over current FDM (Fused Deposition Modeling) based printers.  Here are a few highlights:

• Touchscreen Graphical User Interface
• Wi-Fi capabilities (as well as standard ethernet)
• Dual USB ports for high security areas
• Camera for remote monitoring (App available for Android and iPhone)
• GrabCAD Print Support (stay tuned for future blog posts on GrabCAD Print)
• Automatic Calibration!!!
• Heads are now easily replaced by the end user
• New to Stratasys PLA material available on all F123 Printers
• New Draft mode for very quick prints

 

The Stratasys F123 series of printers include the F170, F270, and F370 (Get it now? F1-2-3?)

F170 Highlights:

• Maximum build area of 10 x 10 x 10 inch (254 x 254 x 254 mm)
• Material Bays: 1 Model, 1 Support
• Materials available: ABS, ASA, PLA

F270 Highlights:

• Maximum build area of 12 x 10 x 12 inch (308.4 x 254 x 308.4 mm)
• Material Bays: 2 Model, 2 Support (with auto change over)
• Materials available: ABS, ASA, PLA

F370 Highlights:

• Maximum build area of 14 x 10 x 14 inch (355.6 x 254 x 355.6 mm) 
• Material Bays: 2 model, 2 support (with auto change over)
• Materials available: ABS, ASA, PLA, PC-ABS
• Insight Software Package (GrabCAD Print is Optional)
