Dangers of Downloaded SOLIDWORKS Files
CATI's monthly contribution to the SOLIDWORKS Blog will posted later this week. This month I to look at the dangers that we can run into when downloading files to be used in SOLIDWORKS. The article talks about potential problems we face when downloading any file from the internet, from Solids vs. Surfaces to too much data in the files.
I show some different examples of what we encounter from a few files I downloaded from different sources and talk about the different ways to work with those files to make sure we get the best performance from those files.
