SOLIDWORKS 2018 What’s New – SOLIDWORKS Electrical Distributed Mode – #SW2018

If you have a server/client installation, you may have noticed that those large projects can start to lag. Distributed mode should take care of that issue. On the Process tab, there is a new group of commands called Deferred Update Mode. Select Activate, and then go about your business working on the project. When you are ready, select Update Connections to push all your changes to the server. This method of working will minimize the network traffic and large data operations during your schematics development.
