How to turn on/off arc centerpoints in SOLIDWORKS
I never really have had the need to turn off the arc centerpoints in SOLIDWORKS. The centerpoints are usually on by default. With the sketch centerpoints on, your circles and arcs will have the marks as seen in the picture below.
One of our customers had an issue where they could not see their centerpoints in the sketch and they were not sure how to turn them back on. This is what their circles looked like.
I knew there is an option to turn this back on but I couldn't remember exactly where it was. I like to use the search tool inside the options dialog box to find the option I am looking for. Just go to Tools, Options.
I typed "centerpoints" in the search box and then just select the option you want and it will take you right to it.
This is one of those simple things, but if you are used to seeing your sketches a certain way and all of a sudden it looks different. It can throw you off. Use that search tool to find the options or settings that are important to you.
