SolidWorks Essentials for 3D CAD Professionals
Course ID: S103

SolidWorks Essentials is the foundation class for building SolidWorks skills. This course is designed for those who have experience with 3D Solids Modeling, but are new to SolidWorks.

It focuses on leveraging your experience into the skills required to be productive with SolidWorks. After completing this class the student will be ready to make parts, assemblies and drawings, and will be on the path to SolidWorks proficiency.

SolidWorks Essentials for 3D CAD Professionals is only available via the CATI Virtual Classroom. This allows the material to be covered in 6 half day sessions you can attend from anywhere, instead of 1 Week at one of our training centers.

Virtual Classroom: 6 sessions, 3 1/2 hours each
Prereqs:

Mechanical Design Experience
3D CAD Experience - REQUIRED. If not, attend SolidWorks Essentials
Windows Experience
Completion of the SolidWorks Tutorial

Students will know how to utilize SolidWorks to create production level parametric models of parts and assemblies. They will be familiar with the SolidWorks user interface, feature manager, sketching tools, and various modeling techniques.

The SolidWorks Essentials training guide will be supplied at the beginning of class and is yours to keep.
