This course utilizes advanced SolidWorks functionality to explore the world of freeform part design and multi body part modeling. The course includes creation of freeform parts from several industries to demonstrate the use of advanced sweeps, lofts, and surface modeling.
Classroom: 3 sessions, 7 hours each
Virtual Classroom: 6 sessions 3-1/2 hours each
Multi body Solids
Lofts and Splines
"The instructor was very informative. I know that I'll be able to use the skills I learned in this class in my daily designs." - Scott Kolasa
At Course Completion
Students will gain the following skills working with advanced assembly techniques and methodologies.
Creating solids from swept profiles and surface geometry
Lofting complex shapes
Face deformation utilizing the "Shape" and "Dome" features
